Mick ("Miche") Fambro was born and raised in West Philly. As a kid, he fell in love with a guitar hanging in a pawn shop window and talked his grandmother into getting it for him (well - for his brother actually - but that's another story...) A few months later, he found himself enrolled in a summer music program. The teacher walked in, took one look at little Mick and said, “Well, first - you’ve got to turn that thing around.” As a lefty, Mick had just flipped the guitar over without bothering to re-string it and taught himself a couple of tunes before classes began. Faced with the insistence that he start over and learn the “right” way, Mick left and never took another lesson. This became the pattern of his life and the story told in this documentary.
